About Us
My family consists of me and my two sons Markus 11 years and Sami 9 years,
and of course our dogs. Nowadays we have two english springers spaniels
at home. We live in Northern-Finland, in a little village called Oulunsalo.
Nearest town is Oulu, about 15 km from here. Dogs are my main hobby, but close
to my heart are also horses and riding. I like to read a lot, do handicrafts
and many other stuff also when having some extra time. |

This is how it all begun...
Golden Retriever is as a breed very lovely, but I had always admired english
springer spaniels as a breed and so I purchased my first springer year 1996.
Riku Wine Valley's Coxy Co-Star, he was a great
personality, although maybe too active. Few times when we got back home from
work, he had made some "renovation" in our home. He wasn't a showstar, but more
reliable in hunting tasks! For our deepest sorrow, Riku got very sick under
age of two and we had to say goodbye to our dear friend all too sudden.
Year 1998 I completed a degree of breeders-course arranged by Finnish Kennelclub
and requested my own kennel prefix, Brooktree prefix was approved in
the FCI 9.9.1998. But but, You cannot begin your breeding, without a suitable
foundation bitch, so I started to "search" a possible combination to get a bitchpuppy
from. Year 1999 I contacted kennel Barecho in Sweden with a puppy inquiry.
Helene had one very interesting litter coming later, from that upcoming litter
I made a reservation for a bitchpuppy for myself. Fanny
Int & Fin & N CH Finnish Winner 2003 Barecho Future Fashion and her litter
mates was born in January 2000.
Fanny had her first litter and my kennels too, at the first day of January
in 2003. The mother of BIG-family, delivered 14 puppies and 11 of them survived.
Fanny was the queen in the house. We miss her so deeply... :( She left us such
nice puppies and her spirit lives on with them. From our first litter, F-litter I kept
myself Sissi, Brooktree Flair For Style.
Also at home we have Mailis, Brooktree
Mayfair Mist out of M-litter. |
