Annikki - Artist

Annikki has had different phases to her life with art. Ever since she went to London to study English and get to know the world, she has been creating her works of art. She gave me one of her greatest pieces just after we met, a chalk drawing of a trash corner in her garden. I entered the drawing for an Art Exhibition and it was never returned by the organisers.
Just before she left England for Germany she drew a crayon work of our back garden in Woodchurch Road, which has graced our walls ever since. She created the Zebra masterpiece of wool embroidery on a cloth base for my mother which hung on her wall till she died and now graces our living room wall.

Annikki has been through many different phases in her art. All of them have been purely for her personal pleasure and for the pleasure of her loved ones. It has never been for a profit motive. Chalk, textile, cakes, aluminium, all sorts of waste materials as fused bulbs, have been moulded by her into absolutely wonderful pieces of art.
