ANNIKKI
- Daughter-In-Law

Annikki's relationship to both her parents-in-law were of great respect
and love. Ammachi, who opposed our marriage till the day we were
married, wrote to us the day after where she said "What God has joined together, let no man
put asunder". Both my parents reciprocated Annikki's love. My
mother once told me that if I had married an Indian girl I would have
been left high and dry very early in the marriage as she saw how much
Annikki, facing all the hardships of living in a foreign country
tolerated my constant work related travel and long periods away from
home when she was struggling to bring up four little children. Annikki
was a loved and respected daughter-in-law.
