Thai Festival in Oulu - 2006

On 12th August, Unnop and Pailin organised a gala event with the well-wishes of the Royal Embassy of Finland in Helsinki, Finland, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand located in Stockholm, Sweden. The Thai Buddhist Monk from Helsinki came to Oulu to grace the occasion and give his darshan to the many Thai residents of Oulu and all the well-wishers of Oulu. Many Thai families of Oulu brought food as an offering to the Monk. The Monk gave the food to be served free to all those who attended this festival. That was a never-ending feast!

A book sent by the Royal Embassy of Thailand to forward a get-well message to the King of Thailand who recently underwent a major operation was available for signing at the event.
