So You've found your way into my homepage. Welcome :) I'll try to tell a bit about my work, so it might be a little easier to understand how these pictures have come together. Most of my work is based on photographs, many many photographs.. But since photographs rarely come out perfect and/or have the same lighting, colours, contrast and whatnot - some parts are drawn over, digitally that is. I'll take for example the little girl in the bloody dress: Her torso is from one picture, arms, palms, head, hair, eyes, nose and mouth each from their own picture. None of which were taken off the same person. After the bodyparts have been brought together adjusting their individual lighting, colours, size, contrast etc she's been given a nice background - that again it's own picture. For a bit of mood the background's lighting has been adjusted to be creepier (darker cellar, moody light from upstairs) and so to fit the theme. Details such as the cross on the wall or the blood on her is all from their own pictures.. Getting the picture? I could chatter endlessly about the techniques, but that's rather boring so I'll rather let you take a closer look at the pictures.
