GURPS Excel Files

I have gathered here some of my more recent GURPS related materials, they are all in Excel 97 format, and have been zipped. As usual, make no profit with these files and there won't be any problems, they are only intended for personal use - other than that I reserve copyrights for my own work. Some of these files are of considerable size, so check the kB entry before downloading.

Generic Utilities

Advanced Random Character System (ARCS) for cyberpunk, originally created for a Cyberpunk setting, this system can also be used with other genres, if GM changes some of the table entries which would be inappropriate. With series of tables this system offers random character creation with all advantages, disadvantages and skills appropriate for the setting, including the newer stuff from Compendium 1. ARCS Characters tend to average around 100 pts, so this system is better suited for creating main characters of the story than joe or jill averages. (416kB)
Cheap Magic Table, all cheap enchantments from GURPS Magic and Grimoire collected into a table, number of these arguably offer more bang for the buck than a single powerful enchantment. (8kB)
Vehicles Design Sheet, basic table layout for writing up GURPS Vehicles 2nd edition designs. (3kB)
Space Design Sheet, basic table layout for writing up starships with GURPS Space 3rd revised edition rules. (4kB)

GURPS Oulupol 2049
Homebrew cinematic cyberpunk setting. Based on the fictional dark future of Oulu, a city in Finland.

Oulupol 2049, This main book of the setting is for the most part written in Finnish, which is a Mental/Hard language in GURPS terms. It is propably not worth the effort to download this if you can't read Finnish. (1650kB)
Police Battlesuit TL8, Durable but affordable PCA which gives the cops at least some chances against the player characters in an open firefight. (9kB)
PlastiBoys Cyborg Frame TL8, Basic framework over which individual PlastiBoys C-SWAT operatives are built.. When the PlastiBoys transport vertol arrives, it is a good idea to be at least few miles away from the ground zero. Collateral damage is never a problem for these C-swat troops who blow up the buildings first and ask questions later - if there are any survivors, that is. (7kB)

GURPS Reign of Steel
By far my favorite GURPS worldbook, RoS builds on the Robot Revolt theme with Falloutish postapocalyptic style. This setting offers a real challenge for players and presents the post-human world in rich detail.

Assault Bike TL9, Electric Offroad Assault Bike. Good for scouting and light skirmishes. (7kB)
Battleride TL8, Stealthed light Battlesuit Carrier. Good for powered armor special ops missions. (11kB)
Black Claw Powered Combat Armor TL9, whereas streethawk is light and advanced, this midweight PCA offers heavier armor and less advanced electronics with lower pricetag. (9kB)
Black Wraith TL9, Ultimate stealth air transport. Based on the Wraith robot unit. (10kB)
Bruce Randall, 100pt wasteland character. Master of devastating 'akimbo' shooting style, prefers to use pair of one-handed firearms at once.. (14kB).
Cheap Heavy Gear TL7-9, Improvised junkrat technology taken to its limits. A small battlemech built from salvaged parts and old military weapons (12kB).
Honda Nomad TL9, Electric motorbike. Handy when there are no easy sources of fossil fuels around. (68kB)
Housemaid Robot TL9, Reasonably cheap humanoid smartbot designed for domestic chores. Can also be trained for other duties, like sniping exterminator robots with a laser rifle. (8kB)
John Garland, 80pt genetically engineered special ops trooper from Australia. Big, strong man with heavy weapons like .50 BMG revolver and light machineguns. (54kB)
Junkrat Technology TL7-9, Lots of improvised personal equipment made from salvaged materials and just plain old junk, including neat items like automobile sheet-metal plate armors and Badass Pistols. (204kB)
Lamborghini Panzer TL9, Basically a Knight Rider on steroids, this seemingly innocent sports car can withstand most exterminator weapons and its headlights double as lasercannons. (50kB)
Ninja Powered Combat Armor TL9, stealthed and chameleon-surfaced light battlesuit optimized for stealthy special ops missions. (8kB)
Rachel Wyczowski, 103pt Junkrat nomad with lots of imagination and nice selection of technological skills. (58kB)
Robot Fighter XAU-20 'Wasp' TL9, Improved air-combat and recon robot model with firepower comparable to Vulture, but with greater speed and endurance. (8kB)
Robot Statistics Table, handy reference card for the GM, this A4 page contains main stats on all standard robot models. (6kB)
Superior Infiltrator Robot SIR-23 TL9, Tougher than terminator, this humanlike robot can be a nasty surprise for an unprepared party. (12kB)

GURPS Space Vikings
This is a homebrew scifi-setting, which is neither space opera nor hardcore science fiction, but something in between. As the name implies, this game is about space piracy on a grand scale - However, it has nothing to do with the 'Space Viking' -book by H. Beam Piper. Technology is mostly around 10-11 and milky way galaxy is the playing field of the players. Loosely based on the worlds found in GURPS Space Atlas 3, as well as some astronomical images and randomly generated star systems using the StarGen-program (by Tim Cain).

GURPS Space Vikings, This is the main book, version 2.3. Contains some info on the setting, as well as campaign sheets and the like. (322kB)
Equipment Kits, for the Space Vikings setting. These are generic package-deals ranging from the urban espionage kit to starfighter pilots choice of toys. Main purpose of these is to speed up the equipping phase of character creation. (13kB)
Basic Skill Templates, this table includes simplified skill templates, which may help speed up character creation process, as well as show which skills are used/needed in the setting for various common tasks. (8kB)
Androids, collection of inexpensive fairly basic robots built to closely resemble humans. All but the commando-models are cheaply massproduced, sold and copied widely around both galaxies. (28kB)
Trade Items Table, includes pricing, risk and weight/volume information on various kinds of starship cargo. (8kB)
Hovervan, a very common sight over urban landscapes, this is a hover capable vertol flying vehicle with the size and general shape of a van. Massproduced in great numbers, pricing has standardized at 72 kilocredits new, less if used. (8kB)
Banshee, a common and very cheap light aerospace fighter, based on 'speed is armor' school of thought, this craft is not for faint of hearted or those without a good life insurance. Name of the design is descriptive of the howling sound the fighters thrusters emit in an atmosphere. (8kB)
FTL Shuttle, fairly inexpensive yet a swift way to move between the stars and to land on planets, this craft is also widely used as a lifeboat by larger vessels. Can accomodate 15 passengers short term, as well as their luggage. (8kB)
Puma Free Trader, about as small as a freighter can get, this craft can snugly fit a single shipping container into it's cargo hold, and has an extra cabin for passengers. Main feature of this craft is its highly competitive FTL speed of over 14 parsecs per day with 20 tons of load. Copied and massproduced a lot, Puma costs only 1400 kilocredits. (8kB)
Century Eagle, Souped up Caractacallan corvette, this starship has fastest hyperdrive in the sector, not to mention well hidden smuggling compartments and anti-intruder defenses.. (8kB)
Boarding Resolution System (BRS), A streamlined combat system based on ORS from GT Star Mercs and Mass Combat System from Compendium 2. (13kB)
Cheaptech Interceptor, at only 3 Mcr per unit, this interceptor is propably the cheapest mass produced starfighter in the Milky Way galaxy. Any sane professional would not fly any combat missions in one, because this ship is like an egg with a hammer - sure, it can dish out damage, but it will propably blow up from the first blast which hits it. It's called 'flying coffin' by most veteran pilots. (8kB)
Cobra Mk 3, old design with some modern upgrades. This corvette class ship is easy to customize for a wide variety of roles - With the right equipment it could just as well be a tramp freighter, small warship or a fairly luxurious yacht. FTL drive has sufficient power to reach frontier territories with ease, and STL thrusters give sufficient kick for space combat maneuvers. (12kB)
Gladius Main Battle Mech, the most common walking (and flying/jumping) tank used by most modern ground forces. While it is not as tough as a tank of similar price range, it is much more mobile and agile, able to function in almost all kinds of environments. (12kB)
Valkyria Light Cybermech, Over 8 yard tall partly living machine of destruction which looks a lot like it's pilot, Valkyria cybermech is not to be taken lightly. Equipped with very advanced hyperdrive and thrusters it is extremely maneuverable in any situation and can skip into close combat distance in the blink of an eye - Force screens or deflectors are of no use against it's massive monoedge sword. Based on advanced technologies only known to the Valkyria race/culture, it is rarely if ever sold to outsiders. (89kB)
Illea, 205pt sample character and Cesaai alien race writeup. (40kB)
Tech for Miniatures, Technology and equipment for the Miniatures alien race. (25kB)
Excalibur Heavy Stealth Fighter, TL10-12 experimental heavy starfighter in field testing by the human led federation. (10 kB)
Falcon Mk2 Starfighter, Cost-effective medium starfighter used by bounty hunters, frontier freelancers and other well financed professionals. Does not look neat enough to sit in Federation Navy hangars. (12kB)
Hunter class Destroyer, the most common warship of Federation is built around a large Omniblaster particle cannon. (8kB)
Katana, medium aerospace fighter commonly used by federation and others. Has no FTL-capability. (8kB)
Leviathan class Dreadnought, This is the heaviest warship in federation fleet. Built around huge spinal beam cannon powerful enough to punch through a small moon. (10kB)
Long Haul, Typical frontier tramp freighter, the Achenaar Long Haul has been armed with several laser turrets to defend against unfair competition. It can carry a load of 500 tons at FTL speed of 5 parsecs a day. (8kB)
Titan, 40 yard tall roughly manshaped combat walker, titan is heavily armored robot well suited for ground battles and has weaponry powerful enough to reach high orbit. It can operate continuously for up to 200 years with no resupply. Originally a Hegemony design, is now used by both Federation and Crystallides. (12kB)
Precursor equipment, few TL14 items sometimes found from well preserved precursor ruins. Only 2 million years old, most of these things still work. (4kB)
Raptor Mk2 Heavy Starfighter, Not exactly very nimble, Federation Raptor makes up for these deficiencies with heavy armor and armaments. It has enough punch to do some serious damage to capships. (12kB)
Magna Dynamics Starvan, about the size of an ordinary 21st century van, this vehicle has both STL and FTL flight capabilities. Cheap knockoffs of this design are fairly common, selling for a low price of only 260 kilocredits. (8kB)
Wotun, homeworld of the giant race. (2kB, a text file)
Hegemony Marine Template, stats for the footsoldiers of hegemony. Some training/cryosleep sites have survived the collapse of hegemony, just waiting for the day they are ordered to conquer once again.. (2kB, a text file)
Space Ranges Table, range penalties for astronomical distances. (2kB, a text file)
Mauler, hegemony's old MBT design is still seeing some use by various militaries around the milky way, long after the collapse of hegemony. (2kB, a text file.)

GURPS Oceans of Sand
This is my homebrew dark fantasy setting for GURPS. TL4 with gunpowder, anachronistic inventions, technomagic, plenty of non-human races, evil necromancers and other stuff.
Players Booklet, this file contains all the basics needed to create characters and play in the OOS setting. (760 kB).
Pinnace, a small class of skyships often favored by pirates and wealthy individuals. Agile and reasonably fast. (8kB)
CMS Invincible, medium sized merchanter skyship which sails under the flag of Clearwater. (7kB)
